PROBOIL.4e Filter Cartridge

This genuine, premium quality filter contains a solid carbon block offering supreme water filtration and scale control to best protect the life of your PROBOIL® boiler.

This product also features a unique filter bypass valve which allows you to control and set the filter to your local hardness conditions thus best protecting the life of your boiler, whilst extending the life of your filter by matching the level of filtration required to the water hardness in your home.

The filter also reduces chlorine and odour impurities from the water and is the world's first to effectively combine mineral reduction and corrosion protection through pH balancing.

The cartridge is comprised of two types of media; one to reduce taste and odour and one to treat hardness and scale. It is extremely important that you use an approved filter which treats scale with a hot water tap (no matter the hardness of your water) as this is fundamental in protecting your boiler. If a filter does not have scale protection or the filter is expired and all internal media has been used up, you're boiler will begin to develop excessive scale inside the unit which can cause damage if left untreated for an extended time. 

This filter has a rated capacity of 1500L (rated at water hardness of 180ppm), meaning it will last 6-12 months dependant on water hardness and usage.
